Do Blueberries and Matcha go Together?

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (155 g) frozen blueberries* 1 cup (155 g) fresh blueberries (30 grams) spinach (baby)
  • 1 banana, ripe
  • 1 mug (240 ml) almond milk without sugar
  • 2 tbsp. oats, old fashioned
  • 1 teaspoon powdered matcha

Instructions:

  • In a blender, combine all of the ingredients and blend until creamy.
  • Serve right away or keep refrigerated.
  • Before serving, give it a good stir.

Anti-Inflammatory Berry Matcha Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup wild blueberries, either fresh or frozen
  • 1 pound spinach
  • a half cup of yogurt
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon powdered matcha
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • In a blender, combine blueberries, water, yogurt, spinach,┬ácoconut milk, matcha, and turmeric until smooth.
  • If necessary, add ice cubes and mix again. Serve in a large glass with a garnish of blueberries or microgreens if desired.
