Our pies celebrate the California farms and ranches that generate much of the nation’s finest fresh fruit, nuts and dairy products.
Our recipes are uncomplicated and rely on the sun-ripe sweetness of fruit enhanced by organic sugar, hormone-free and organic butter, milk and cream. We source ingredients directly from farms that are certified organic or ecologically and socially responsible, as well as through distributors who share our attentiveness to sustainability.
Like the rest of our menu, our pie offerings are seasonal – in Summer, our pies burst with berries and stone fruit – peaches, plums and apricots and their creative cousins. In Fall we celebrate pumpkin and follow the array of apple varieties through their harvests.
We welcome the longer lasting keeper apples as well as pears and citrus to warm us in Winter until Spring brings strawberries, rhubarb, and early apricots.

We make our signature American pie dough with a blend of certified organic whole-grain and white flours and with butter from hormone and antibiotic-free cows. Our pie dough is entirely rolled by hand. If you visit our shop mid-day, you are likely to see the baking team rolling together.
We have vegan pie offerings daily – our vegan pie dough is made with coconut and canola oils instead of butter. While we do not offer a gluten-free pie we do have other GF desserts. Four season pie favorites include Banana Cream, Chocolate Cream (on weekends) and Walnut Pie, as well as a dazzling array of Old-School Sunday Specials.
