Coffee and Tea

When looking for coffee and tea to serve with our pie we seek out companies whose interests and values match our own regarding sourcing and sustainability.  We were glad to meet the folks at Taylor Maid Farms before we even opened Mission Pie.   In addition to their commitment to roasting high quality coffee, this Sebastopol-based company has invested significantly in the economic and environmental sustainability of the growers that they work with. For tea drinkers, we source from three companies,  Zhena’s Gypsy Tea, Teatulia and Guayaki  for teas and herbal blends.  Sourcing from a range of companies enables us to offer a variety of loose leaf teas at an everyday price that pair well with our pie. Our coffees and teas are also available for bulk purchase for customers who prefer to have their coffee, tea or espresso drinks at home.

    Hi Mission Pie,

I really miss the $1 coffee – it’s the perfect size when you don’t want too much caffeine or just want a little something to wash down your scone or galette!

I generally really like your coffees and I’m always telling people that it’s, “The best dollar coffee in the City!”

Going from having the $1 option to the cheapest being $1.75 is a bit of a hike mostly because I’m usually ordering for two.

I would really love to see you offer the smaller size again.

Hi Shawna, Thank you for your note. We’re sad, too, to lose the $1 coffee. We just couldn’t make it work anymore with all of the increases in coffee prices over the last couple of years and then with our recent upgrade to fully compostable cups and lids. Not sure if you are aware, but if you bring your own cup, you can get coffee for $1.50. Hope to see you soon.
    Krystin, Mission Pie
