5th Annual Pie Baking Contest will be held on Sunday, August 28th!

Can you believe it’s the 5th Annual?!

Interested bakers are welcome to submit a home-baked sweet or savory pie.

If you would like to participate

  • please email us before 5pm on Friday, August 26th at eatpie@missionpie.com with your name, phone number, and the type of pie you will be submitting. The contest is open to the first 25 applicants.
  • on Sunday, August 28, please bring one whole pie and a list of ingredients to Mission Pie between 2:00 and 2:30 pm.  A panel of 4 judges will taste and evaluate each pie.  Winners in a variety of categories will be announced between 3:30 and 4:00 pm.

Feel free to bring friends and cheerleaders.  While we are judging the pies, you can hang out and sample the competition.  Good luck!

We sell jam every day at Mission Pie. We feature three local jammers: Inna Jam, Produce to the People, and Emmy’s.
Currently we have Emmy’s apricot, pluot, and raspberry; Inna Jam’s strawberry (two varieties), raspberry, blueberry, and jalapeno, and Produce to the People’s yellow plum and pomegranate, apricot rhubarb, and orange marmalade with thyme. They are all so good it’s pretty hard to pick just one.
