Young local farmers we admire: Little City Gardens
On Saturday, March 6, come meet Little City Gardens farming partners Brooke Budner and Caitlyn Galloway at Mission Pie. Little City Gardens’ experiment of building a viable new farming business in San Francisco is currently featured on Kickstarter, which is an innovative mechanism for start-up projects to garner support. We are impressed by Brooke’s and Caitlyn’s thoughtful and thorough business planning, and are eager to see them succeed as young urban farmers and young business people. Caitlyn and Brooke will host a table at Mission Pie on March 6 from 10 to 2, with information on their farm expansion plans for the coming season.
