The View From Here is the outcome of a two-month collaboration between a group of San Francisco’s Mission
High School students and Bay Area artist Sam Slater.
The students were encouraged to utilize the camera as a tool, much the way a farmer uses tools to harvest crops.
Then taking 35mm cameras into their own environments, the students strived to harvest their perspectives of their surroundings and offer them to the community.
Please come out and support these young artists, and buy a book to support more youth art projects!
