Updates from Mission Pie

CELEBRATE THE LANDSCAPES OF MISSION PIE

On Saturday August 8th, Mission Pie invites friends and neighbors to create and celebrate new beauty and life around the Southwest corner of 25th and Mission.

* SATURDAY *
Beginning at 10am, we will be planting the sidewalk on 25th Street alongside our building.
Thanks for all of the support from the folks and organizations who have contributed time, resources and knowledge to make this “permeable landscaping” happen, including
o Jane Martin and PlantSF
o Alix Ogilvie
o Catherine Butler and Urban Edibles
o Lauren Anderson and Produce to the People
o Mark Foti and Sunset Concrete
o Kai Klaassen
o Jason Mark
o Ted Logan and Logan Design and Construction
o Caitlin Miller
o Rebecca Wujek
o Dede Boies
o Kearstin Krehbiel and the SF Parks Trust.
In the afternoon, between 2 and 5, we will celebrate the planting as well as the recent completion of the San Pancho Art Collective’s extraordinary mural on the back of the building at the corner of 25th and Lilac Alley.
We hope you will join us for some or all of the day.

* SUNDAY *
Between 4 and 7pm, we’ll be celebrating the collaboration of Logan Design & Construction, Selander Architects, Parks Plumbing and Heating, and everybody who worked on the Mission Pie renovation.

Come in for refreshments on us and see the beautiful new café and kitchen, urban garden and the Mission’s newest mural. If you are looking for design and building talent for an upcoming project, stop by!

Logan Design and Construction completed a seismic upgrade, and fully renovated the corner storefront including a full commercial baking kitchen, while Mission Pie stayed open for business! Come see the exposed steel beams, concrete counters, custom interior lighting, flooring and displays, with reclaimed materials. throughout.
